Mechanical Engineering, as one of the oldest Engineering branches, covers different subjects   in science and technology, consisting energy conversion and production, creating and converting motion and doing work, producing and manufacturing parts and machines by using different materials in their construction, as well as designing and controlling mechanical, thermal and fluid systems.

Division of Mechanical Engineering at Caspian Faculty of Engineering started its activities in 2015 with B.Sc. program and later in 2021, the M.Sc. program was offered in specialty field of "Energy Conversion". Currently, Mechanical Engineering division has about 100 B.Sc. and M.Sc. students and four full-time faculty members and 5 laboratories- including Strength of Materials, Fluids Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Dynamics &Vibrations and Electric Machines & Electronics- in addition to 3 workshops- including Welding, Machining and Auto-Mechanics- serve the under graduation students.
