Thank you for your interest in our lab, Separation Processes & Nanotechnology Laboratory.

This lab, within Caspian Faculty of Engineering, College of Engineering at the University of Tehran, focusing on the separation processes and Nanotechnolgy applications in Chemical Engineering, in particular in the following areas:

Water-in-Oil treatment with the aim of electrical field application (Electro-coalescence)

Asphaltene precipitates separating from the oil

Carbon dioxide capture from flue gas

Nanoparticles' Synthesis, Characterization and Application for Heavy Metal Removal

Supercritical Fluid Extraction

electrophoresis

The lab has a number of state-of-the-art facilities such as "high speed video camera" with high resolution, "Power amplifier", "function generators" and some other common instrument.
